The 2011–12 interdisciplinary speaker series invites leading scholars from around the globe to speak on the Russian revolutionary epoch, emphasizing its reception abroad and contemporary perspectives on that era. Cosponsored with the University Center for Human Values, the Council of the Humanities, the Shelby Cullom Davis Center for Historical Studies, the Department of Art and Archaeology, the Department of German, the Department of History, the Department of Politics, the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, and the Program in Media and Modernity.
